Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
AirCo Travel (“AirCo Travel”, “we”, “us”) sells travel eSIM data plans at aircotravel.com and in the AirCo Travel mobile app. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian and Québec privacy law.
1. Information we collect
- Account and order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, the eSIM plans you buy, order history and the details needed to deliver your eSIM (such as its QR code and usage status).
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe (including Apple Pay and Google Pay). We never see or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation of payment and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and similar data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
- Messages you send us: emails and contact-form messages, so we can answer you.
2. How we use it
- To process your order, create your account and deliver and activate your eSIM.
- To send order confirmations, installation instructions, low-data alerts and service messages.
- To provide customer support, prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To improve the website and app, and, if you agree, to send offers or rewards messages. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store, and only what they need:
- Airalo, our eSIM supplier, which issues the eSIM linked to your order.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Hosting, email and security providers (for example Hostinger and our email delivery service).
- Google (Analytics, Search Console and Merchant Center) and Jetpack/WordPress.com, for statistics, site performance and store management.
- Google Translate (through the language switcher), which translates page text in your browser when you choose another language.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers are located outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States and Europe, so your information may be processed there under their own safeguards.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the cart, checkout and login, and cookies for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as checkout, may not work without the necessary ones.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order and account information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal information, except what we must keep by law.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent to marketing, or ask a question about how we handle your data. You can delete your account yourself at any time from My account › Delete account, or write to us at the address below. We will answer within 30 days.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to personal information. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
8. Children
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
